Director of Product Operations

Description

The Product Operations leader serves as a member of the Product Leadership team and will be responsible for developing and delivering standard guidelines across the Product organization to aid in the efficient development and delivery of new data & product features, product innovation, and customer engagement across the organization. 

The leader will also spearhead key initiatives across product, development, operations and commercial, and lead a team that delivers objective analysis, insights, strategy, and execution for mission-critical efforts.

What You’ll Do:

Customer and Market Intelligence:

  • Partner with Commercial teams to establish effective client-feedback mechanisms and to report on those insights
  • Monitor competitive trends as an input into roadmap and company strategy; partner with Commercial team on the creation of battlecards and product management leads on roadmap implications
  • Conduct supplementary market and customer research as needed to ensure that roadmaps and strategic planning 

Product Analytics and Insight:

  • Own the creation, accuracy, and efficient distribution of product adoption and usage metrics. Partner with product managers to incorporate usage insights into roadmaps
  • Ensure that all aspects of our data collection, data enrichment and product adoption/usage have clear metrics and escalation processes. Partner with Operations, Product Management, Research and Development to implement
  • Drive productivity in the development process through driving process adoption and best practices with product & development tools

Strategy Execution

  • Drive the strategic planning process with the Chief Product Officer
  • Report on status of strategic priorities, internally and at the C/Board-level
  • Identify problems across organizations and create processes to solve them. Work with other teams to manage creation and execution of goals, aligning with the product area strategy. Coordinate cross-functional project teams to execute analyses to develop recommendations.
  • Partner with commercial on go-to-market efforts around major product releases

Product Enablement Technology and Processes:

  • Visionary and owner of the Product tech stack roadmap, driving efficiency and user experience.
  • Partner with other leaders of the Product organization to ensure process adoption
Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Management Consulting, Analytics, Corporate Strategy or Operations. 
  • Proven track record for leading complex operational strategic initiatives through periods of transformation, merger integration, or significant organizational change.  
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influencing skills 
  • Excellent business judgment and problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Analytical and process-oriented with an innovation mindset; ability to dig into data & identify trends 
  • Excellent problem-solving & analytical skills, developing product and operational metrics that identify and impact & improvement areas for projects, user adoption and retention goals.  
  • Superb project management and efficiency 
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills to effectively support strategic planning, go-to-market efforts and executive/board-level discussions
  • Knowledgeable in human-centered design approach, customer research methodologies, product development lifecycle, agile methodology and the analytics and development tech stack.

This is a full-time exempt role with a base salary range of $200,000-$225,000, plus benefits. A final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience, and the Company's pay equity.
