Email Marketing Specialist

One of the key solutions offered by MediaRadar is our Contacts Database, which is essentially a LinkedIn for media and advertising buyers. The MediaRadar Contacts team researches public data sources to find contact information (email addresses, location, phone numbers, etc.) in the advertising and agency space that our users leverage to close deals. The Email Marketing Specialist will plan and lead our efforts to collect Contact information for media buyers at brands and their agencies. You will lead a team of five Contact Research Associates, including a manager with several years of experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively collaborate across multiple company departments (Client Services, Marketing, Sales, and Product Management) in order to identify and implement innovative new ways to grow our current database of contacts.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead our efforts at collecting Contact data, including:
    • Directing the team’s day-to-day tasks and special projects
    • Validating that work product is consistently completed on time, in scope, and meets expectations
    • Conducting focused data analysis and root cause analysis on assigned projects and processes
    • Overseeing the team’s key performance indicators goals
    • Providing regular updates/communication via group and 1:1 meetings
    • Providing professional development and coaching to the team
  • Uncover innovative ways to collect data. This includes:
    • Developing and testing data collection strategies and yield rates to improve team results
    • Partnering with leadership in Sales, Product, Marketing and Client Services to understand the business needs and data gaps of clients/prospective clients
    • Understanding corporate marketing, agency, and advertising organizational structures
    • Identifying more cost-effective and/or more efficient data collection opportunities
    • Keeping current with industry trends and tools
  • Actively maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the organization

Who You Are:

  • You have experience with or ability to oversee a team of 5 people
  • You have online research experience and email marketing campaign experience
  • You have excellent customer service and communication skills
  • You have the ability to multitask and work in a fast paced, change centric environment
  • You are organized with a strong attention to detail
  • You have a strong sense of time management, able to manage discrete projects and daily tasks
  • You have a working knowledge of the Microsoft and Google Suite of programs
  • You work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Compensation is $70-90,000 based on experience
