MediaRadar is a cloud-based ad sales information service. We help websites, magazines, television networks, and newspapers dramatically improve ad sales and client management. MediaRadar provides its clients with detailed brand analysis and prospecting reports on over 2.6 million brands, culling advertising and editorial insights from more than 16,000 media properties. We help to give our more than 1600 clients a competitive edge by empowering their Sales Teams to enhance and streamline their sales processes using our unique SaaS platform service.
MediaRadar is looking to hire an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team and help support our continued growth. We are looking for a self-starter to dig in to the day-to-day accounting work. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. You will also be responsible for analyzing customer contracts and maintaining the database in Salesforce. Additionally, you will play an important role during the month end close by preparing account reconciliations and helping to ensure the timely preparation of monthly financial statements.
What you'll do:
• Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle
• Ensure that proper backup and approvals are obtained for all vendor payments
• Prepare credit card reconciliations
• Manage the Accounts Receivable cycle including the preparation of customer invoices
• Prepare month end account reconciliations
• Provide support for audits, financial reporting, tax, etc.
• Responsible for contract management in Salesforce
Who you are:
• You have 2 – 4 years of experience
• You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• You are detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, take initiative and work within deadlines
• You have good time management, organizational and communication skills
• You are highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• NetSuite and Salesforce experience is a huge plus
