Operations Manager (SaaS)


MediaRadar is a cloud-based ad sales information service. We help websites, magazines, television networks, and newspapers dramatically improve ad sales and client management. MediaRadar provides its clients with detailed brand analysis and prospecting reports on over 3.2 million brands, culling advertising and editorial insights from more than 16,000 media properties. We help to give our more than 1600 clients a competitive edge by empowering their Sales Teams to enhance and streamline their sales processes using our unique SaaS platform service.

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of Research Associates on the Contacts team in researching brands and agencies marketing teams. The Manager will work to implement and practice innovative and effective ways to verify existing and find new contact information for our proprietary product through online research and email correspondence, find new contact data as well as researching information that fulfills key client needs and specialized requests.


What you'll do:

  • Supervise a team of Research Associates, managing workload of all team members
  • Conduct regular meetings with team to address business needs, team expectations and best practices
  • Develop and test various data collection strategies and analyze results on each contact campaign to refine and identify opportunities to improve data collection, yields and process efficiencies
  • Keep current with industry trends and implement useful approaches and tools to find and/or verify identified contacts
  • Effectively monitor various media sources to search, identify and track key decision maker shifts in our targeted contact’s groups
  • Effectively answer client services questions, capture updates and changes in media property contacts for requested business strategies
  • Understand corporate marketing, agency and advertising organizational structures
  • Identify and understand the business needs of clients and prospective clients (asking for marketing titles, new business contacts, media titles, etc.)
  • Analyze and use social/digital applications and phone calls to assist in higher contact collection yields
  • Build and maintain an expert level of knowledge on advertisement and media property owners, providing regular feedback on competitive intelligence and product development opportunities
  • Convey collectable contact information groups, new and sustaining, regularly to SVP of Product, VP of Operations, and other business partners responsible for producing and delivering content to our clients
  • Recognize, document and report trends in customer communications and quality metrics
  • Create and refine process improvement and cost saving projects with an emphasis on efficiency, quality and business impact
  • Create and refine policy and process documentation for use by Research Associates and vendor team members
  • Contribute towards the achievement of our companies strategic and operational objectives

Who you are:

  • Management experience required
  • Possess a minimum of a four year degree or equivalent experience
  • >2yrs Marketing, Product, Direct Marketing, Agency or Advertising experience preferred
  • A self-starter and innovative thinker who actively pursues perfection
  • Maintain a strong attention to detail
  • Proactively asks questions and challenges the status quo
  • Microsoft Office suite and Google Suite experience
  • Knowledge of Excel (Formulas, Pivot tables) preferred
  • Manage multiple tasks and due dates
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
