Contacts Research Associate

MediaRadar is a cloud-based ad sales information service. We help websites, magazines, television networks, and newspapers dramatically improve ad sales and client management. MediaRadar provides its clients with detailed brand analysis and prospecting reports on over 3.2 million brands, culling advertising and editorial insights from more than 16,000 media properties. We help to give our more than 1600 clients a competitive edge by empowering their Sales Teams to enhance and streamline their sales processes using our unique SaaS platform service.

The Data Associate - Contacts is responsible for researching new contact information, maintaining our database of contact information, conducting root cause analysis, troubleshooting problems, and assisting on related projects as needed.


    • Fulfill client requests for contact information data. This includes:
      • Managing a queue of requests
      • Using phone and web research to collect data
      • Auditing data collected by a 3rd party vendor
      • Inputting results into internal systems
      • Corresponding with clients
      • Reviewing advertising trade publications and analyzing agency account changes
      • Writing and editing documentation as requested
      • Working with your direct manager as requested to evaluate process updates and clarify methodology
      • Assisting in the execution of strategic work as needed and as requested for special projects
    • Maintain a high volume of email correspondence on a daily basis to generate new contact information
    • Identify and escalate continuous improvement projects as requested to improve the department’s workflow, efficiency, and accuracy
    • Actively maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the team
    • Support ad hoc Operations functions as needed, including data set up, collection and maintenance


    • Four year degree or equal experience required
    • A minimum of 1 year related experience - Marketing, Product, Direct Marketing, Agency, Advertising, or SaaS Data Business experience preferred
    • Email campaign management and text manipulation data analysis experience a big plus
    • Extensive research experience and familiarity with SEO concepts
    • Proactively ask questions concerning unclear rules, errors, systems, and process improvements
    • Actively utilize and provide feedback on the tools provided
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite. Knowledge of formulas, filters, VLOOKUPS, parsing, and pivot tables preferred
    • Self-starter who is well-organized and analytical
    • Ability to work independently and with groups
