The Professional Service advertising category posted ad page gains January-August 2014, with ad pages up 4.3% to 2,093.1 total pages versus the same period in 2013, as measured among 158 consumer magazines.
Ad page increases from 134 brands in the category contributed to the gains, resulting in growth in several key subcategories, including Creative Agency/Firm (+40.4%), Medical & Dental (+19.5%), and Shipping & Logistics (+11.7%). The most active advertisers in the Professional Service category came from advertising placement agencies such as Madison Media Corporation (67 pages) and M.I Integrated Media (43 pages), as well as food service association Got Milk? (57.5 pages) and shipping and logistics giant UPS (61.43 pages).
Texas Monthly achieved the highest share of Professional Service ad pages with 182.05 pages, and airline titles Southwest Airlines Spirit (157.59 pages) and US Airways Magazine (117.64 pages) were 2nd and 4th, respectively.
