We are seeking a QA Engineer who is highly motivated and possesses extensive experience in executing testing procedures to ensure the highest product quality standards. Responsibilities for this role include estimating, planning, and coordinating comprehensive testing activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for meticulously documenting, tracking, and resolving identified defects within our defect tracking system. We are seeking a candidate who can work autonomously and take initiative when needed, demonstrating the ability to effectively manage tasks independently. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our products maintain their status as best-in-class, consistently positioning our clients ahead of their competition.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly evaluate product functionality and performance.
- Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and address any issues or bugs in new and existing features.
- Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify testing requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Continuously monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Champion best practices for software quality assurance and provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the QA team.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in QA methodologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
What You've Done:
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Experience with Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Nice to Haves (but not required):
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Zephyr Squad
- Experience as a QA Engineer with expertise in SQL, ETL, and End-to-End Testing.
- Experience with API Testing, including RESTful APIs and SOAP web services.
- Knowledge of Load Testing tools and techniques (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
